Infographic: Celebrating Towel Day - May 25, 2012
Lemon.ly has a hoopy little infographic about Towel Day which falls on this Friday, May 25th.

If you don’t know much about Douglas Adams, the most important thing to know is that he wrote humorous and fun science fiction books. This May marks the 11-year anniversary of Adams’ death. Two weeks after his death, his fans decided to commemorate him by making May 25th, Towel Day, and it turns out Lemon.ly’s designer, Ana, is one of those fans.

Great work, Ana, and one should always know where their towel is.

If you read one book a week, starting at the age of 5, and live to be 80, you will have read a grand total of 3,900 books, a little over one-tenth of 1 percent of the books currently in print.

This makes me sad. So many wonderful books I’ll be missing out on.

Ehhhhhhhhh. Not as interesting as Bean perhaps.

Possibly. As of now I’m one had one segment from Bean’s POV. I enjoy his character and his similarities to Ender, and how those similarities effect Ender. Peter though, went from sadistic psychopath to, motivated sociopath(?). Not too mention all his activity on the Nets is an interesting reprieve from Battle School and progresses the plot in a way I wasn’t expected.

Now, as I’m getting ready for Graduation my one main question is, “how can I sneak the book in when all I have is a cap and gown?”

And all of a sudden Peter Wiggin became a fascinating character.

Grew up admiring this guy’s creativity. He wrote books, plays, songs, and musicals as well as drew books, designed costumes, worked with legends all while becoming one himself.
