Hannah Fraser swims dressed as a mermaid with a humpback whale off Vava’u Island, Tonga, to raise awareness of marine life and oppose whale hunting.  Hannah has been fascinated with mermaids since she was three years old. She made her first mermaid tail at the age of nine, after seeing the film Splash with Daryl Hannah. Now she works as a model, actress and performer, swimming with whales, dolphins, stingrays and sharks. Rare White Killer Whale Photographed
UPDATE: The original photo has been replaced with a more recent photo of a white orca.

Originally observed in August 2010 near the Commander Islands in the North Pacific, researchers decided to wait until the animal had been studied further before releasing photographs.

This week, Busch Gardens Tampa is celebrating a milestone anniversary for a very special relationship. Monday, April 16 marked the one-year anniversary of the first time park guests got to see an 8-week-old male cheetah cub and a 16-week-old female yellow Labrador puppy start to strike up a friendship that the park’s animal experts expect to last a lifetime.
